In this workshop, teams are led through the powerful Five Behaviors model, which is based on Patrick Lencioni’s best-selling book, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. Teams will learn and be able to put into practice the behaviors that will help them overcome obstacles to effective teamwork, work better together, and improve individual and team performance.

Specifically, The Five Behaviors training program provides the same framework as the book. Teams start their journey by learning how to instill vulnerability-based trust. They then proceed to build on that experience by learning how to engage in conflict, accountability. They conclude their journey by learning how to achieve team-based results.

Prior to the workshop, Team members will complete The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ assessment, which is reinforced by DiSC, a powerful behavioral tool that has been helping people connect better for years.

Whether it’s a new team, one who is experiencing challenges, one who is still “norming,” or one who is a well-oiled machine and wants to maintain that, investing in the team always produces a return. DiSC is a powerful tool that provides awareness of unique communication and thinking style preferences. And awareness facilitates action with intent.

This DiSC training session will provide the opportunity for each participant to take/retake the DiSC profile assessment and receive a personalized interpretation of their results. During the workshop participants will learn about the DiSC profiles and what they look like when applied, such as in communication styles, approaches to work, patterns in working relationships and behaviors during stressful events. We’ll also discuss preference levers to use for talent management purposes to deliver results, along with representation of preferences and the tradeoffs of balance and imbalance. Participants will leave with an understanding of themselves, their team members, and team actions to support a strong team.

Does your group need just the administration of online assessments to provide profiles without the DiSC training?

Send us an inquiry and we can help your organization get set up with the Everything DiSC® on Catalyst™ platform so team members can take the assessment and receive profiles whenever there is a need for insight on team members.

About DiSC Profiles

The DiSC® model is a simple tool that’s been helping people to connect better for over thirty years. The report uses your individual assessment data to provide a wealth of information about your workplace priorities and preferences. In addition, you’ll learn how to connect better with colleagues whose priorities and preferences differ from yours.

DiSC is an acronym that stands for the four main personality profiles described in the DiSC model: (D)ominance, (i)nfluence, (S)teadiness and (C)onscientiousness.
