Michael Gropper
Michael Gropper is a humorous and captivating speaker who is passionate about sharing his courageous entrepreneurial journey – embarked with compassion and hope – of concurrently launching two massive ventures to support his charitable mission of helping homeless veterans in transition. His enormous undertaking required the widespread support of the Denver-Metro community along with assistance from government and nonprofit organizations who helped fund his endeavors and provided staffing that consisted solely of local homeless veterans. Michael’s ventures received the attention of mass media – local and nationwide – and his story was subsequently broadcast over multiple media outlets.
An eight-year Army veteran who was in the 101st Airborne and NATO Command in Belgium where he cooked for NATO generals, Michael has gained essential insights from “being in the trenches” and offers his broad entrepreneurial wisdom to motivate, inspire, and support those willing to take their own intrepid journey to build a meaningful and fulfilling business.
Michael holds a BA in Anthropology and an MA in Special Education. He worked as a Special Education teacher for 15 years all the while building a number of businesses both in the world of education and culinary crafts. Michael is a graduate of Colorado SBDC Network’s LEADING EDGE™ program for entrepreneurs.
